Jay Venkatesen

As well as being founder of Ayer Capital management, Venkatesen is President of Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc., a Managing Partner at Alpine BioVentures, GP, LLC., an Independent Director of Lion Biotechnologies, Inc. and a member of the board at Exicure Therapeutics, AuraSense Therapeutics. He serves as a Director of Bain Capital, LLC and Brookside Capital Management, LLC.

Venkatesen has a BA from Williams College (where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa), an MBA from the Wharton School at Penn U and an MD from Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine.
