One of Scott Stanford’s most recent business acquisitions was the co-founding of Sherpa Foundry. He brings many years of work in web-related fields, specifically technology to the organization through the roles of: advisor, investor and operator. In the past, Stanford also gained leadership skills as co-head and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs’ Global Internet Investment Banking business. Thereafter, Stanford played a pivotal role at LookSmart (in which he led the firm from a small start-up to a NASDAQ-traded company). During his studies, Stanford coded prototype applications for two startup concepts and also worked as Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs’ Communication, Media and Entertainment Investment Banking Group. Stanford has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and at 17, got his Pilot’s License.
