Alfred Zeien was the former CEO and Chairman of Gillette from 1991 to 1999. He received his undergraduate degree from Webb Institute and his Master’s from Harvard University. While he was the CEO at Gillette, he implemented many changes to their corporate tactics and mission statement. He wanted every single product at Gillette to be the leader in the world market. He believed in rich and detailed market data, and had extensive product studies done each year. Mr. Zeien actually joined Gillette in 1968 and held many positions with the company before becoming the CEO.
