Appointed as CEO of Procter & Gamble in 2009, other executive positions Bob McDonald today holds at the firm include Chairman of the Board and President. Establishing a new growth strategy for the company in his executive role, McDonald had the idea of helping Procter & Gamble achieve its mission “to touch and improve lives, now and for generations to come.” With McDonald at the helm, sales have grown approximately 7 percent and enjoyed an adjusted free cash flow of a staggering 106 percent. What is even more impressive about McDonald’s role in all of this at P&G, is that these impressive results came at a time of substantial economic difficulties including a very limited growth in developed markets.
