Brian Goldner was promoted to CEO of Hasbro Inc. in 2008. Prior to that he was COO.  He joined the company in 2000 from Bandai (a rival) to help it refocus its core brands, following a difficult year when the company lost $144m as well as many jobs and office closures.   With Goldner at the helm, the mission was successful.
