Carol J. Hamilton became President of the Luxury Products Division at L’Oréal in the summer of 2008. However prior to this role, she worked with the company in a variety of capacities since 1984 when she joined as Director of Marketing for the former L’Oréal Cosmetics Division. Other positions she has held include: VP of Marketing at the L’Oréal Hair Care division and thereafter Senior VP. In 1996 Hamilton became Senior VP/GM of Marketing for L’Oréal Consumer Products which merged the Hair Care and Cosmetics divisions, taking on responsibility for all functions of L’Oréal Consumer Products marketing, manufacturing, sales, finance and administration. With her at the helm, the L’Oréal Paris beauty brand has became America’s largest beauty brand, and its haircolor, the number one manufacturer.
