Based in Paris, Cartier S.A. is a French jeweler and watch manufacturer. The name originates from the Cartier family of jewelers whose control ended in 1964.  Historically, its clients include: royals, celebrities and other people of fame.  Indeed, Edward VII, Prince of Wales, at the time called Cartier, “Joaillier des Rois, Roi des Joailliers” (Jeweler of the Kings, King of Jewelers).  He ordered 27 tiaras for his 1902 coronation.
