Dr. Marc Boom became CEO and President of The Methodist Hospital in 2012.  Prior to that role, he was Executive VP of the company.  He is the first physician to be CEO in nearly 100 years.  In addition, he still sees around 60 to 70 patients which he feels “gives [him] perspective” in his administrator role, and two weeks of the year he works as an attending physician.
