Dropbox was officially launched at the 2008 annual technology conference, TechCrunch50. It is a free service that can be used by anyone who wants to bring all of their data with them wherever they go (comprising, written, audio and visual matter). Once it has been installed onto the computer, files saved to Dropbox will be saved to all computers, iPhone and iPad and the Dropbox website. It is used by approximately 50 million people worldwide.
