Senior VP of Merchandising Fred Mossler joined Zappos.com in 1999.  Some years later, he was promoted to the position of “No Title,” as no-one could come up with an appropriate position title for him.  This new “role” means Mossler is able to supervise various departments within the company, while remaining an officer of Zappos Merchandising.
