General Motors Company, or GM, is a multinational automotive corporation based in Michigan. In 2011, GM was the largest auto maker in the world.
With business in 157 countries, General Motors currently employs more than 200,000 people. The company’s vehicles are included in numerous divisions and brands, including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Holden, Vauxhall and Opel. It also has two joint ventures in Asia.
