In 2012, Gordon Krater became the sixth managing partner Plante & Moran has had since its establishment in 1924.  He succeeds Biull Hermann, the previous managing partner who held the position since 2001.  Krater joined the firm in 1980, since which time he has held various roles such as his most recent one which was group managing partner, responsible for industry specializations.  In this new role, he will guide Plante & Moran in the advancement of capacities and processes that fulfill client needs.  In addition, he will carry on fostering Plante & Moran’s positive work environment.
