Launched in 1994 by scientists at the National Cancer Institute, the International Epidemiology Institute (IEI) is a biomedical research organization. It offers state-of-the-science expertise vis-à-vis the complicated biomedical issues the public and private sectors, universities and others in today’s world that is increasingly in flux in this industry. Employees at the institute are experts in epidemiologic research. The firm has helped ensure the establishment of collaborative health studies throughout America, Europe, China, Japan and Scandinavia. In addition, the IEI is engaged in: designing and implementing investigations, interpreting study results, and consequently analyzing and understanding the etiology and means of prevention of human illnesses.
