Headquartered in Colorado, Leprino Foods boasts 12 production plants throughout America and Europe. Its by-products include: whey protein, lactose, and sweet whey powder used in infant formula and yogurt. The company started out as a small, family-owned market selling grocery items and handmade cheese in Denver, Colorado. Its cheeses were first sold under the “Gina Marie” brand, symbolizing the highest quality and standards of its products. The store’s headquarters remain on the same corner where Mike Leprino Sr.’s grocery store once stood, and to this day its goal remains the same: to ensure the production of the best dairy ingredients available.
