Lamberto Andreotti has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Rome. He also earned a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Andreotti began to work for Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1998 as vice president and general manager in Italy and European Oncology. He became the president of the European division in 2000, and in 2002 Andreotti became senior vice president and president of the International division.
Andreotti became the CEO of the company in 2010, after serving as president and chief operation officer who was responsible for all of Bristol-Myers Squibb’s worldwide pharmaceutical operations.
