Larry Page is the co-founder of the internet search engine company, Google. Page was born in 1973 in Michigan, and always had an interest in computers. Page’s father encouraged his son’s interest in computers due to his own position as a professor at Michigan State University in computer science.
While working on his PhD at Stanford University Page met his Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Together they developed the powerful search engine in 1998, which grew at a pace of about 20% per month.
Page never completed his PhD due to the phenomenal success of Google. Larry Page is estimated to have personal wealth of about $7.2 billion and was said to be the 55th wealthiest man in the world when he was only 32 years old.
