Boasting over three decades in the organic foods industry, Margaret Wittenberg is Global VP, Quality Standards and Public Affairs at Whole Foods. Her roles include: quality standards development, food and nutrition education, and corporate communications with a focus on seafood sustainability, farm animal welfare, agricultural genetic engineering, and sustainable and organic agriculture. Wittenberg has been with the firm since 1981, one of the original staff. During this time she has worked alongside principal domestic and international organizations such as: USDA, the EPA, Organic Trade Association, and the Marine Stewardship Council.
