Founded by François Nars, NARS Cosmetics is a Shiseido-owned skincare and cosmetics company.   Its cosmetics line started with a mere 12 lipsticks that were sold at Barneys New York.  Now, the company boasts a whole slew of multi-use products.  Fabien Baron developed the company’s minimalist packaging it is known-for and products with provocative names keep people talking.  Indeed, ‘Orgasm’ blush is one of the company’s best-selling products, which resulted in the creation of gift sets.  Products in the UK are sold at top quality stores like Selfridges and Harvey Nichols and are used by Victoria Beckham and Madonna.  In America, they can be found in 42 states as well as the District of Colombia, in Sephora and various large department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and their original address, Barneys New York.
