Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, is the Chairman (and former CEO) of Nestlé. During his time at the firm before taking on these top executive roles, he spent close to a decade in Chile, as the company’s National Sales Manager and Director of Marketing. When relocating to Ecuador, he became the company’s Managing Director for the region and two years later took on the same position in Venezuela. Promoted to Senior VP of Culinary Products Division, Brabeck then moved to Vevey. In 1992, he was appointed the company’s S.A. Executive Vice President. Five years later he was elected Member of the Board of Directors as well as CEO of Nestlé S.A and then in 2001, the board’s Vice-Chairman of the Board, and, four years later its chair. In 2008, Brabeck stepped down from his role as CEO.
