Starwood Capital Group is a private investment firm started by founder, chairman and CEO Barry Stuart Sternlicht. They own a number of businesses, including Starwood Property Trust, Inc., Starwood Energy Group Global, L.L.C., Starwood Real Estate Securities, L.L.C., and SH Group. The Group is owned by more than 60 partners and it has completed more than 465 transactions with assets represented at nearly $35 billion.  They have assets under management of $21 billion. They have 215 employees located in eleven offices in six countries. These include their global headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut; San Francisco, California; Washington DC; Atlanta, Georgia; Los Angeles, California; Chicago, Illinois; London, England; Paris, France; Luxembourg; Mumbai, India and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
