Steve Bennett joined Symantec’s Board of Directors in 2010 and became its Chairman in 2011. He joined the company in these roles with significant experience in similar roles at both Intuit (where the company’s revenue jumped from less than $1bn in 2000 to $2.7bn in 2007) and General Electric (during which time he managed complicated and diverse organizations ranging from consumer appliances to financial services).
