Thomas F. Gilbane Jr. is Chairman and CEO of Gilbane Inc., a holding company with two main subsidiaries – Gilbane Building Company and Gilbane Development Company. He is one of five members of the family’s fourth generation who is active in the company’s management. He joined Gilbane Building Company as a full-time worker in 1970 after having worked six summers in various training assignments. Throughout his time, Gilbane has thus worked in most field and office positions.  Some of these include: VP Regional Manager; Executive VP and COO and President.  One of his principal areas of focus has been on “fostering an incident and injury free culture within Gilbane,” – ‘Gilbane Cares,’ whose goal it is to treat all staff as a member of the family, avoiding risks so that they return home safely. Gilbane Jr. is also a director of Gilbane Inc., Gilbane Building Company, Gilbane Development Company, ITSI Gilbane.
